That's a Wrap(Up): 2018 Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon

tackle2byour2btbr2breadathon2b2018Well, the 2018 Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon hosted by Wishful Endings has officially come to an end. I didn’t get a chance to post for the last couple of days, but I didn’t get to read much either so I guess it’s okay. I had a great time participating and am excited to do so again next year!
I was able to get 5 books, which is short of my original goal of reading 6 books during this week. However, knowing how difficult it was going to be with the babies and birthday parties happening I was smart… I set a secondary goal of 100 pages per day, which I definitely managed to pull off!!!
Here’s my wrap up:

Total Books Read: 5
Total Pages Read: 1,399

I totally forgot to post an update yesterday for Day 4 of the 2018 Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon hosted by Wishful Endings! So…I’m just combining my days 4 & 5 together into one post.
So here’s how Days 4 & 5 – September 20 & 21, 2018 went for me:

Pages Read: 375

Total Books Read: 4
Total Pages Read: Unsure thanks to a glitch on my Kindle
Finished Books: Hunting Annabelle by Wendy Heard, Get Weird by CJ Casciotta, A Home for the Redeemed by Sue Behnke, Auschwitz Lullaby by Mario Escobar.

Looks like I should be able to meet my goal of finishing 6 books during the Read-a-thon!!!
(A side note…If you’re wondering why my posts look a little funky, it’s because I’ve been updating from my phone and I have no idea what I’m doing! Just bear with me while I try to figure out how to format my posts using the app. Eventually I’ll figure it out…I hope!)

Day 1 & Goals: 2018 Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon

And so it begins…
The 2018 Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon hosted by Wishful Endings started today! If you want to learn more or participate, please visit her site!
My goal for the read-a-thon is to finish at least 6 books. Not sure how well that’ll work out since I still have a houseful of kids and a husband, so my alternative goal is to read at least 100 pages per day…
So without further ado, here’s how Day 1 went for me:

Books Read: Hunting Annabelle & Get Weird

Pages Read: Hunting Annabelle doesn’t show a page count on my kindle, but I went from 62% to 100% do that’s Book 1 checked off the TBR already!!! Yay!!!
I read 62 pages from Get Weird.
So I definitely hit my secondary goalof reading 100 pages for the day and I’m on track for my first goal already!

Total Pages Read: Unsure
Finished Books: Hunting Annabelle
I’m hoping to finish Get Weird tomorrow and start on A Home for the Redeemed. Wish me luck and Happy Reading!!!
